That time of the year, ain’t it.
The time of the year where I decide I need a new wardrobe; the time of the year where I realise that I don’t have the money to fund this sweeping aesthetic transformation. It’s a real blow. (I’m talking about London Fashion Week Men’s, by the way.)
Anyhow, at least we get to look at the nice things – take the SS18 line from A-Cold-Wall*, for instance. The UK brand – helmed by the formidable Samuel Ross – are up to their usual tricks with their latest line, with contrasting colours and material choices tinged with garish political undertones. The collection, termed ‘The State School Partnership Firm’, is an exploration of the bridge between “the coming of age school leaver entering the working world” and the common British experience.
