Sunflowers and sandy hues: Afield have launched a menswear collection designed with the beach and pool in mind. The British menswear brand feature bold and vintage style prints, inspired by icons of the late 1960s. The ‘Lets Go Swimming’ SS17 collection mixes relaxed tailoring with knitwear and classic linens with oxfords. Interchangeable and easy to dress up or down, Afield’s latest looks float easily into any wardrobe.

As well as geometric and floral prints, lightweight fabrics with micro versions of summer items feature. Tiny sunglasses, waves and bikini clad bathers, inspired by aerial photographer Gray Malin are neatly lined up across polo shirts and shorts. With high quality and expertise in mind, this classic collection has been created in collaboration with heritage shoemakers Padmore & Barnes and denim specialists Blue Matters, ensuring timeless garments.

Using crepe cottons, linens, twills and the best yarns and fabrics, each piece is perfectly finished and effortlessly wearable for long summer days. Fret not at English showers, as Afield have included jackets, knits and rainproof coats. This contemporary collection is the best of modern menswear, with subtle retro references based on classic silhouettes.
