AllSaints have been hanging out by the waves.
Continuing with its global creative initiative, the brand have launched a summer collection inspired by Huntington Beach on the Californian coast.
Channelling the sun-soaked cool of the eponymous town’s seminal surf and skate cultures, the latest drop features linen jerseys, combat pants and denim cut-offs, all built on a southern Californian faded pastel palette. After all, it’s a nice way of life out there, ain’t it.
Wil Beedle, AllSaints’ creative director explained: “Anyone familiar with Ed Templeton’s photos of his hometown Huntington Beach will know what a unique spirit the town has. So when I found myself there last summer it seemed natural to start building a collection around it.
“A year later I went back, this time with Ed, a couple of cases of clothes that the town had inspired, and a group of kids that we had met along the way. We spent a couple of says just hanging out on the beach, capturing those spontaneous moments, and the images that e took away capture not just the laid-back, languid spirit of that time in Huntington, but every summer spent on the beach.”
