Blakey has us a bit excited.
The singer-songwriter has drawn comparisons to Bon Iver and Francis and The Lights with his dreamy, detached take on post-pop indie – with new track Prism Of Love, it’s not difficult to see why. Blakey’s delicate vocals zip from baritone to falsetto and back again in the stripped-back confessional, which sees the Londoner lay his soul bare against a sparse sonic backdrop.
Prism of Love is a poignant, other-worldly piece of music, that showcases why the young British artist is on many a radar for 2017. Listen to it below.
