BOA have returned with wistful and ambient, ‘Pharaoh’

Following the success of their breakout singles, Holier and Right Place Right Time, BOA have returned with Pharaoh, a wistful, ambient number that interweaves synths and sharp guitars throughout its 4 minute duration.

Much like their previous releases, Pharaoh’s charm is in its atmosphere. BOA are masters of the soundscape, and this hazy, dream-like track glows as vocals meet the instrumental in harmonious correlation. It’s glorious, post-summer indie-pop, with enough layers to take you somewhere else; somewhere nicer.

Right Place Right Time created quite the buzz, and Pharaoh will do BOA’s growing reputation no harm at all. It’s a blissful listen from an exciting band.
