Dumb Lovers have the 80s in their heart on debut ‘Oscar’

Move over, Dumb Lovers are coming through.

And you won’t be able to get their debut single, ‘Oscar’, out of your head.

Their guitars are drenched with reverb, their soft vocals have the shine of cherry-red lipgloss, their lyrics are lined with seduction, and their attitude is blown up like bubble gum.

‘Oscar’ struts with the glamour of new romanticism that has settled in the heart of the 80’s time bandits.

Glorious male/female harmonies flutter alongside ethereal synth, threatening to veer dangerously off road at any given moment and daring to let go.

There lies the style however, as the brooding track remains in the safe lane. Though doesn’t lose its twinkle.
