Geowulf have crafted a world of their very own.
It’s glittered, just like their alternative pop songs. And draped in silk, like the vocals that swish through the tracks. This world is effortlessly slick, and electrifying with excitement – with no limitations. It’s well cared for, in the same way that they look after each of their songs. Geowulf inject personality into each, carefully building adding light to the darkness and creating their own brand of shoegaze dream pop.
Latest single ‘Get You’ completes their Relapse EP. Woozy on sun-soaked synths and rose tinted melodies, the track would easily slot into a summer mixtape. This is melancholic pop, that still wears a smile. You’ll swoon over it.
To celebrate the release, Geowulf penned a poem and shared photographs taken by Star over the past two years.
“1. Ostkupan, 412 76 Göteborg, Sweden
2. Shall I tell you about my life
They say I’m a man of the world
I’ve flown across every tide
And I’ve seen lots of pretty girls
I guess I’ve got everything I need
I wouldn’t ask for more
And there’s no one I’d rather be
But I just wish that I’d never been born
And I need a good woman
To make me feel like a good man should
I don’t say I’m a good man
Oh, but I would be if I could
I could tell you about my life
And keep you amused I’m sure
About all the times I’ve cried
And how I don’t want to be sad anymore
And how I wish I was in love”
