Hare Squead go Loco with new video

Hare Squead are a hip-hop trio straight out of Dublin.

The group are eclectic – and proud of it. You can find elements of dance, R&B and nu-soul decorating the interior of their own, unique brand of contemporary rap. New single Loco follows such a trend, sonically taking up where its predecessors left off. It’s a hard, guitar-led rap-trap hybrid, which comes with a video that sees the Irish trio exploring the vast, concrete playground they call home.

The track doesn’t beat around the bush. It’s a showcase for Hare Squead’s ability as rappers and lyricists, allowing their respective verses to take a spotlight that a melody may have hogged in previous outings, Despite its heaviness, it never repels; the group have managed to encompass elements of A$AP Mob and early NERD, crafting a sound that’s both colossal and catchy. There’s more to come from this lot.
