Herschel Supply are broadening their horizons.
Since 2009, the Vancouver brand have focused predominantly on backpacks, transforming from Canadian upstart to global accessory leader in no time at all. Now, Herschel are taking a step into uncharted territory – with the launch of their first ever apparel collection. Ready for Autumn 2017, the new outerwear line places its focus on travel, offering a ranged of tailored rain and windwear essentials for the intrepid rover.
“Travel is something that inspires all of us at Herschel Supply,” explains co-founder Jamie Cormack. “With apparel, it had to feel organic for Herschel Supply. It had to have a good look but function like an accessory. Our new outwear collections are a natural progression of what we already do really well with our growing range of travel essentials.”
Featuring two key categories – ‘voyage’ and ‘forecast’ – the collection blends different fits and styles with an overarching practicality. Think anorak pullovers, hooded ponchos and coach button-ups, all of which are able to go toe-to-toe with the harshest of elements, while remaining light and compact enough for carrying on the go. Soon, you’ll be actively hoping for rain.
You can find the Autumn 2017 collection at select global stockists and on the Herschel Supply website.
