The first trailer for Wes Anderson’s Isle Of Dogs has finally landed – and you’ll find no dog puns here.
Nope. Not even one. We’re better than that. This isn’t even a delayed drop, either – one of those, ‘I’m going to string you along until the final line, where I’ll just type “woof woof!” and make you feel like a right old wally!’ No, no. Not today. Not ever.
Anyhow. The American auteur’s latest venture into stop-motion is set in a dystopian Japan, where dogs have been banished to an island of garbage due to the outbreak of a canine flu. Featuring the voices of Bryan Cranston, Bill Murray, Scarlett Johansson, Edward Norton, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, Yoko Ono, Frances McDormand and Jeff Goldblum (to name just a few), it looks like a vintage Anderson affair. We’re very excited.
