Majik are back with more existential dream-pop in the form of Paralysed, an ambient slice of post-XX delicacy.
It’s a muted, subtle track; a sonic enmeshment of maundering electronica and radio-friendly hook. The London duo are well-versed in bringing heartache to the dancefloor, and Paralysed is no different. It’s as melodic as it is melancholy, as playful as it is pensive.
“Paralysed is a song written from the midst of being disconnected with reality – encompassing two hearts seeing entirely different perspectives” said the pair. “Whilst one suffocates until a natural realisation occurs – breathing life into the darkness.”
The track has been released as a double A-side, along with fellow new cut Friends. Check it out below.
