Haven’t you heard? Summer’s on the way. So fix up, get outside and be more like Oh Wonder.
The London duo are back with ‘Ultralife’, a gorgeous toe-tapper of a track that unravels with rosy cheeks. It’s upbeat, sun-soaked piece of indie-pop with a replayability that makes you want to head outside and make your way to the nearest grassy area for an afternoon of living good.
For fans of Josephine Vander Gucht and Anthony West’s usual brand of wide-eyed alt-pop, it’s more of the same and then some. ‘Ultralife’, in its three-and-a-half minute running time, is a perfect slice of musical sunshine. It’s fun as hell – and a welcome return.
