NVOY are back with Make You Mine, which sees the London-based duo at it again for another slow-building blast of all-encompassing dance music.
Much like previous single Up-Down, the track borrows from R&B and trap in its reimagining of UK house. It’s sharp, sexy and fun, emphasising NVOY’s credentials of two of the country’s most exciting young music makers.According to the boys, it’s about “the feeling when you stop second-guessing yourself and just go for someone that you’ve been thinking about.”
“It’s about the release that comes from that.”
Currently, you can find them busy with NVOY & Friends, a house party series in which the Londoners pitch up at parties all over the country. The template is simple: fans provide the house, they provide the lineup.
It’s another chapter in what has been a busy year for the dance aficionados. After a summer of festival appearances including Jay Z’s Made In America and support dates with Gorgon City across the US, NVOY completed a sold out set at Warehouse project to widespread acclaim. Next up, it’s a string of headline shows, including London’s KOKO.
