Flirtatious in their rhythms, Tele Mori are announcing themselves as an entity. A previous enigma now ready to be revealed.
Latest offering, ‘Regular Nightmares’, sees the Windsor based three piece stepping out in all of their fluorescent glory. A song bursting with rumbling bass and electric vocals, there’s an exciting eloquence to the lyrics that adds a bite to the thrill.
From the band name being inspired by the death of television, to the opening line, “sickened by your silent telephone”, Tele Mori act as commentators of today’s society and the death of one technology leading to the regeneration of another.
Fuelled by this urgency, ‘Regular Nightmares’ is almost starry eyed. Filled with life and sparking with energy, the contrast of the soaring melody runs down your spine as a groove tempts an ironic smile in a sad tale.
A song made to be listened to at night time, you’ll have to be sure to keep one eye open to see what this band do next.
