We like our Swedish labels here at tmrw – none more so than Sandqvist.

Since establishing in 2004, the bag brand have won legions of admirers (us!) for their forward-thinking designs and their pledges of sustainability. Now, however, they’ve taken one step closer to totally sustainable production. Starting this season, Sandqvist have announced that only organic cotton will be used in all of their canvas – the goal is that by Autumn 2018, all cotton used by Sandqvist will be organically grown, and all synthetic materials will come from recycled fibres.

“It has always been our ambition to work sustainably,” says Sebastian Westin, Co-Founder and Brand Manager. “Starting out, it was mainly by making long-lasting quality products, but by switching to organic cotton we’re taking a huge step forward. We’re changing to organic all together, because we believe sustainability issues should not be a niched segment in our range, but rather something that permeate everything we do.”

Big up to everyone involved – shop Sandqvist here.
