Is there anything that Stormzy can’t do?

The answer is no, no there is not. Give him the prize now. Thanks for coming everyone, but Stormzy’s gonna take this one. And that one. And the next one. Stormzy can do everything. Everything.

Yesterday, the all-conquering rapper shared Gang Signs & Prayer the film, a documentary and visual testament to his music, life and upbringing. Blending dramatic narrative with awe-inspiring live performances, the film – directed by Rollo Jackson – chronicles Stormzy’s internal battles and temptations as he sets about becoming the most important British artist working today.

Young youts like myself, that grow up in the hood, we often don’t know that we are actually the masters of our own destiny,” he explains.

“There are so many things that steer us in the wrong direction however, we decide what happens in our own lives and like my album, I endeavoured for this film to portray just that. Derived from my album Gang Signs & Prayer, and written and directed by the legend that is Rollo, I’ll let the visual do the talking.”

And so will we. Watch it below.
