As those long summer days draw closer, Swimming Tapes have released a dreamy indie-pop banger.
Having first introduced themselves to the world back in 2016; with their stunning debut ‘Souvenirs’, the Swimming Tapes lads continue on their path for music domination. It’s pretty obvious there’s a buzz that lingers around the band as their uplifting indie melodies leave the world swooning.
Dazzling guitar melodies and hazy vocals echo from the lad’s new track ‘Queens Parade’. It’s a nostalgic anthem that’s glistening with dreamy instrumentals. Complete with steady drumbeats and a mesmerising chorus that’s bounces along to a jangling guitar melody.
‘Queens Parade’ is best suited for those boozy summer afternoons, as you drunkenly sing with your mates wrapped around both arms. It’s a track that plays homage to those good old days.
Crafted instrumentals serenade you as you dreamily reminisce on the memories.
Whilst we’re not ones to normally wish the summer months away, but we can’t help but with the announcement of the band’s upcoming London show, we feel giddy at the thought of the dreamy gig in September.
Swimming Tapes play The Lexington, 20th September.
