We all know Tyler, the Creator is the coolest fucking person on the planet. So when he collab-ed with Converse, both parties collectively increased by at least another 17%. And things just got cooler…
Way back when in the summer of 2017, when Brexit hadn’t entered the terrible twos, and you could still get straws in spoons, Tyler, the Creator began reinterpreting the Converse One Star. The fleur (you know that’s flower in French don’t cha?) design is now the defining element of all his GOLF le FLEUR* collections.
Now, for the first time ever, Tyler has expanded his vision to a new silhouette. The Chuck 70 has a fresh look and fresh fabrics. Designed with burlap and vintage parchment canvas upper and asymmetrical GOLF le FLEUR* print, Tyler offers a distinct, creative take on the classic Chuck 70. In the new collection, the burlap upper is also added to the signature GOLF le FLEUR* One Star.
Converse said, “As Tyler, The Creator’s relationship with Converse has evolved, so has his choice of sneaker staples. The Chuck 70, a modern ode to the Chuck Taylor as it was in 1971, reflects the collection’s – and the artist’s – ongoing sartorial evolution.”
Entering yet another chapter of the collaboration book, Converse and Tyler are clearly still a match made in heaven. The ‘Flower Boy’ motif looks cool, feels cool, and is always an effortless addition to your wardrobe. And this collection is no different.
GOLF le FLEUR* x Converse “Burlap” Pack to arrive on November 15.
