The Amazons have had quite a year, and it isn’t over yet.
Back in May they released their self-titled debut album, which not only raised their army sized following, but bagged them a nomination on BBC’s Sound Of list too. Pretty damn impressive.
Without a doubt, they’re the band on everyone’s lips right now.
Riding their summer of festivals, The Amazons have shared an exclusive acoustic performance of beloved single, ‘Junk Food Forever’ from Communion Music curated, Bushstock festival.
‘Junk Food Forever’ is The Amazons’ stand out single. Its infectious lyricism makes it the perfect stadium anthem that will leave crowds chanting. Although the video sees a more relaxed rendition, it still holds that amazing guitar interlude that floats throughout the record. And not forgetting Matt’s mesmerising vocal talents too.
Speaking about their performance, The Amazons said, ‘It’s always a pleasure to be involved in a festival like Bushstock. It’s one of the most supportive platforms for great upcoming artists on the U.K. festival circuit. Our first set at the festival was the show that got us signed so we loved coming back this year.’
And with Bushstock closing its doors for another year, I’m sure it wont be too long until 2018’s plans start to unravel.
