As part of our exclusive special edition ‘zine with PRETTYMUCH, we’ve been with the band for some of their time here in the UK in the last few weeks. We’ve been there for their first ever UK gig at London’s Scala, whilst they did sound check, and as they’ve met hundreds of fans, taken pictures, and signed heaps of copies of the PRETTYMUCH limited edition tmrw ‘zine.
It seems the band have had a hectic London visit, they’ve been to Liam Hodges’ London Fashion Week Men’s show on Saturday and sat front row, they enjoyed a few tequilas (according to their insta story), and they’ve launched this ‘zine that they curated and put their entire selves into.
Boyband hysteria is a thing, and with these guys it’s on another level. As they walked out on stage at their first ever UK gig screams were deafening and this once in a lifetime moment was felt by every single person in that room.
If anyone thought synchronised boyband choreography was dead, then you’ve never seen PRETTYMUCH perform live. The perfectly in time, totally synched dance moves looked effortless as they flew round the stage with this abundance of overflowing and contagious energy. Speaking with fans after, they lived up to every expectation in their live show.
As the opening chords to ‘Phases’ began to echo through the room, the crowd sang every word of the track from the band’s new EP with the same name even louder than the guys. As they sang, “When I’m kissing ya, grippin’ ya thigh / I realised you are destined and meant to be mine / But who am I to conflict with you living your life? / Just know when you call, I’m at the end of the line”, the entire room was caught up in their whirlwind.
PRETTYMUCH are pretty special, and if you want to get to know them more – buy the limited edition ‘zine. (We ship worldwide)
