Multi-platinum Israeli singer/songwriter Dennis Lloyd releases new single, “Alien” today from his upcoming debut album.
The self-produced single is an introspective number about Dennis adjusting to his new reality as a touring artist and feeling like an outsider.
“This was the first song I wrote after returning home from tour. At some point on the road, you can lose track of where you are, waking up in a new city or country each day, to new people, cultures and foods. In a way, I felt like an Alien on a spaceship, exploring the world.”
Although the content of the song is melancholic the way that the song makes you feel is a million miles away from the emotions that inspired it. Lloyd’s created a thumping and catchy track that is a hallmark of his meshed style. He mixes crisply produced beats and manipulated vocals over catchy guitar chords and piano.
