Rome In Reverse (born Antonella Pacifico) dropped a new offering called “Oracolo” via Telavivi Records prior to a 10-date tour beginning in March.
The track swallows listeners with an underlying pulsating beat and electronic overlay for close to three minutes before Rome In Reverse’s ethereal voice chimes in. The Italian-born, Copenhagen-based self-taught musician and producer’s voice is part of Future Archive Recordings, and “Oracolo” perhaps not-so-ironically sounds very futuristic.
“Oracolo” comes after Rome In Reverse’s 2019 album We’ve Been Here, which featured a music video for the title track directed by frequent collaborator Sun Glitters.
Rome In Reverse debuted in 2014. With “Oracolo,” she’s still going strong.
