Future Classic has announced a set of studio residencies for emerging artists to apply for at their recording studios in Frogtown, Los Angeles – in collaboration with Dropbox.
As well as their impressive roster, the studios have also given space for many artists to develop their creative muscle, including Aloe Blacc, Glass Animals, Clams Casino and Jacques Greene to name just a few…
The purpose of these sessions will allow these emerging artists to get the creative support they need for collaborating with other artists, writers and producers. Successful applicants will also have access to industry mentors across the music industry – including but not limited to agents, promoters, managers and other creative professionals.
This opportunity is available to any artist around the world. The successful artists will get two weeks’ studio time and financial assistance for travel and accommodation costs.
Submissions can be made at futrl.cl/Residency using Dropbox’s free collaborative document tool, Dropbox Paper.
To coincide with news of this announcement Future Classic is hosting a series of events including a night at London’s Moth Club on 14th May in partnership with London promoters Eat Your Own Ears.
