Lauv is set to drop his debut album in 2020, and it’s the beginning of a beautiful new journey for the superstar.
Platinum-certified independent singer, songwriter, producer, and pop visionary Lauv announces the release of a 21-track debut album, ‘how i’m feeling’, out on March 6th 2020, and drops new track ‘Sims.’
An album that has been a long time in the making, in Lauv’s own words, “marks the beginning of a new era,” and explores the journey towards embracing your personality and all its different aspects.
Taking a unique and creative approach, Lauv has split his identity into six brilliant counterparts. There is purple (existential Lauv), blue (hopeless romantic Lauv), green (goofy Lauv), yellow (positive Lauv), orange (fuckboy Lauv) and red (spicy Lauv™️). This showcases in complete detail who the popular singer really is. His music video for latest single ‘Sims’ brings this concept and characters to life for the first time.
Set to head out to Europe on his ~How I’m Feeling World Tour~ later this month, his stock continues to rise with his largest UK shows to date, selling out two nights at the O2 Kentish Town Forum in November.
The chart-topping artist’s climb to the top with his current single ‘fuck, i’m lonely’ with Anne-Marie has been nothing short of meteoric. It has been on the UK top singles chart for over two months, with the song and his upcoming album both included on the third season of Netflix’s popular show 13 Reasons Why.
Aside from tracks such as ‘Drugs & The Internet’ and ‘Feelings’, the ‘i’m so tired’ collab with Troye Sivan and mental health anthem ‘Sad Forever’ have both garnered massive acclaim. He has also created his own online video game called ‘Billy Meets World’ where his six personality characters are set to make an appearance.
