'OMG' is Suki's new sleazy pop single ringing in the new year.
Suki simply has a knack for capturing her audience with soothing, silky sounds and encapsulating lyrics. She is now ringing in the new year with her latest single ‘OMG’. A sleazy, upbeat blend of thinking of a lost love. The single is accompanied by a vintage and cinematic video directed by Emilie Richard-Froozan who also directed the Nostalgia video. The single was written by Suki and Natalie Findlay, produced by Jules Apollinaire at TTRRUUCES HQ in London, mixed by Alex Farrar and mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios.
‘OMG’ is part of her forthcoming album, which will be released later this year. Melodic and upbeat lyrics set the scene and are mixed with thinking of what once was. ‘I don’t often use your name, but I’m cravin’ to. And all these strangers look the same, but I look for you. As I’m crawling through the streets, it’s a lonely view. And I feel so blue, I feel so blue.’
The chorus is about her wanting to go back to how it used to be with a lover and getting lost in the past. ‘Oh my God. Take me back the way that I was. Oh my God. You know I only tried to play your games. So you cannot forget my name. You and I are not the same. You always had it easy.’
‘OMG’ is available to stream on all platforms.
