The Anglo-Italian streetwear brand hits the airwaves with NTS.
In an astrological sense, the fiery Aries can be hot-headed, selfish, and impulsive. The Anglo-Italian label of the same name, though, is properly calm: a hypeworthy brand built on founder Sofia Prantera’s experience and an impeccable knowledge of all things streetwear. And although we are far away from the month of the ram, we have just entered Leo season today, so it seems like as good a time as any to show off a bit.
The brand’s latest venture has seen them link up with LA-based artist Cali Thornhill DeWitt for a new ‘Made In Italy’ capsule, packed with tees, sweats, socks, bowling shirts and produced in collaboration with inimitable radio network NTS. ‘Tutti Pazzi’ – meaning ‘everyone’s crazy!’ – and ‘Hell On Earth’ are emblazoned on every piece, channeling the modern-day hysteria of our times, a kind of light-headed giddiness caused by cabin fever and too much sun.

To celebrate the release, Aries have put on their own NTS show, selecting twenty of their favourite producers and artists on the station, who have all been gifted their own limited edition varsity jackets (see, Aries are not selfish!) From Shanti Celeste to Shygirl, Vegyn to Denzel Curry, it’s a killer line-up of musically-minded creatives, so good that we’d quite like to see it formed as some sort of supergroup.
The campaign is shot by Sandy Williams, seeing a mix of self-portraits and snaps of Cali Thornhill DeWitt and NTS host Mandy Harris Williams. If the Cult of Aries, as the bowling shirts say, was a real thing, we’d be packing our bags right now and building the commune. Just say the word, Aries.
The Aries x NTS Collection is available now, with prices starting at £75.
