The year that marks humanities first landing on the moon was also a time of protest: People wanted to break barriers, explore new territories and experiment with new styles.
The choice of colours and fabrics of the collection boasts with the feeling of the end of the ’60s and beginning of the ’70s: warm hues including spice orange, burgundy, olive-brown contrasted with camel, navy, and black.
The brand is also taking an important step forward this season by introducing its first womenswear collection under Van Mol’s creative direction. The collection comprises approximately 8 key looks that are distinctly influenced by the era’s aesthetic: pony skin and heritage check wools come together to give life to blazer and mini skirt co-ords.
Band of Outsider’s rules are straightforward: This is the label for men and women in search of a perfect fit, without having to take themselves all too seriously. The collection will be available on their website and selected stores worldwide from August 2019.
