BRRRITISH CLASSICS:UNIQLO & JW ANDERSON DROP AW20 WARDROBE

by

Easy-to-wear, toasty clothes inspired by the Big Smoke.

We’ve been saying that ‘winter is coming’ for a little while now, like some sort of half-broken Game of Thrones action figure.

After a quick weirdly hot blip, it’s finally time to start thinking about laying on the layers bracing ourselves for bracing winds. Luckily – and literally – Uniqlo has got us covered.

The Japanese brand has teamed-up with Jonathan Anderson again, this time focusing on British classics iconic silhouettes found lurking throughout London.

Titled ‘A Day in London’, it’s for strolling by the Southbank or bumbling around Borough Market, promising to keep you toastier than a grilled cheese sarnie.

The colourways are classic JW Anderson – think Autumnal accents of olive and navy, grey and amber – presented in smart colour-blocks. Check? Check.

If it wasn’t wholesome and hearty enough, there’s also a new kidswear line that coordinates with the adult wardrobe, meaning your whole family can be on fleek for whatever Christmas festivities we’re allowed.

All in all, it’s another ace example of a high-fashion designer turning their sketchpad to a ready-to-wear, high-street label. We’re all for these kinds of collabs – especially when they’re this cosy too.

Though, knowing our meteorological unluckiness, as soon as we cop this collection, it’ll probably be another heatwave again…
