This week, Dutch fashion brand Daily Paper has teamed up with British-Nigerian artist Kida Kudz and his collective Jiggy Boyz for a brand new collection. Consisting of a t-shirt, sweater, sweatpants, pair of boxer briefs, and a stylish during wave cap, the two sides have joined forces on a cosy collection that represents fundamental themes of both brands: family and motivation.
“It’s [Jiggy Boy Family Club] a place that welcomes all creatives,” says Kudz. “Being Jiggy isn’t just about how you dress; it’s a lifestyle, mentality and most of all, it’s a belief. A belief that you, your ideas and talent are enough, and there’s nothing more important than staying true and being honest, honest to yourself & your craft.”
Kida Kudz has been making waves in the UK music scene for some time now with his recognizable Afroswank sound but agreed that Jiggy Boyz was more than just music and that it was time to express that idea through clothing with a brand with the same ideals.
“This collaboration came about a natural connection with Kida Kudz back in 2018,” says Daily Paper co-founder Abderrahmane Trabisini. “Over some time, Kida brought us into his journey and his Jiggy Boyz Family Club movement, and we felt there was such a mutual understanding in each other’s stories.”
The whole capsule is available now on Daily Paper’s official website.
