LAUREN JAUREGUI IS
WERKIN' FROM THE ROAD

We stepped onto the bus for Lauren Jauregui's debut solo tour and took a peek into her dreamy wardrobe...

Even though WERKIN’ FROM HOME can be sweet (as we’ve definitely proven so far) sometimes it’s time to venture out of the comfort zone. Welcome to our second instalment of WERKIN’ FROM THE ROAD…

Stepping onto the tour bus and taking us into her wardrobe this week is Lauren Jauregui, as she breaks down some of her favourite looks for her just-wrapped tour — in her own words. Last year saw the former member of Fifth Harmony step into her own with the release of her album Prelude, a powerful debut solo project dropped via her own label Attunement Records.

Doing it all on her own terms, Lauren told her story through Prelude and captured her independent spirit flawlessly, something she also does through fashion. “This tour was short and sweet”, Lauren explains “but Rafael Linares (@st.raffi at @artdeptagencyla) really helped me put together some beautiful looks for not only the stage, but for my meet and greet too”. Scroll down to take a look at which five looks Lauren Jauregui picked out of her coveted closet and find out just why she picked them…

LOOK ONE

This first outfit is from the night of my first show of the ‘An Evening with Lauren Jauregui’ Tour in New York. We sold out the Bowery ballroom and for the meet and greet I wore this liquid gold latex number by Vex Latex (@Vexclothing). Some gold accessories to accent by Tara jewellery (@taradtla). Glam was a light natural beat for most of the tour. That’s really where I feel most comfortable is just accentuating what my face and hair are already doing. Makeup was done by the angel Kale Teter (@kaleteter) in New York and hair was trimmed and styled by Francis Rodriguez (@blaqfrancishair).

LOOK TWO

“This second look is from my first headlining show in Miami. My friends and family came through and my sister and I actually ended up matching in this black and red animal print situation. I loved how fiery the energy of the dress was and I loved the way the pattern accentuated my curves. It was worn with a black bodysuit underneath as the dress was made of a sheer material. Dress was designed by Onalaja (@onalajaofficial) and paired with some liquid black patent leather booties by Amina Muaddi @(aminamuaddi).”

LOOK THREE

“This is my actual show costume. What I wear on stage, there’s two photos, one that showcases the cape that is taken off of me in the intro number and the other is the revealed form. I loved the metallic blue and black accents. It looked like liquid and it was corseted with a skirt piece that was detachable and taken off half-way through the show. I started the show barefoot and then put on heels when I took off the skirt. I loved this piece and felt very powerful and feminine.”

LOOK FOUR

“This is a set from my merch paired with some white platform Pumas. This is the comfiest sweat suit that I own. I love hoodies. The photo was taken during my Prelude live performance with Moment House by Ashley Osborne. It showcases my dancers and I during the ‘Scattered’ performance. Written on the sleeve is the name of the project PRELUDE. And then on the pant leg I have my last name.”

LOOK FIVE

“This outfit is a bit obscured in this picture detail wise but it was a bodycon corseted floor-length dress with a sort of denim element. The dress was by Rita Vinieris (@ritavinieris) and it was paired with jewellery from Tara jewellery (@taradtla). I loved the elegance of it and I paired it with a coat that I wore to be outside in that December Chicago weather.”
