After 81 shows across 44 regions, K-pop stars TWICE are preserving the Seoul finale of their most ambitious touring chapter yet, capturing a global run defined by landmark performances, ambitious stagecraft and the enduring connection between the nine members and their fans, ONCE.

For TWICE, the end of the THIS IS FOR World Tour was also a return to where it all began. After travelling across Asia, Oceania, North America and Europe to perform for audiences around the world, the nine-member group returned to Seoul’s KSPO DOME in July 2026 to bring their expansive global tour to a close. Now, recordings drawn from all three encore shows are being preserved on live vinyl, giving fans a chance to revisit the moments that marked the culmination of the group’s most significant touring chapter to date.

The THIS IS FOR World Tour was a considerable undertaking, both in scale and ambition. From sold-out arena dates to landmark stadium performances, the run continued to expand TWICE’s international live presence while demonstrating how a group approaching a decade into their career could keep evolving onstage. The Seoul finale offers a fitting way to commemorate that journey; the live vinyl captures the final performances of a tour that connected audiences across continents before returning home for one last celebration with ONCE.

Speaking exclusively to tmrw, TWICE shared: “‘THIS IS FOR’ took us to so many different cities around the world, and we got to meet so many ONCE along the way. Every show had its own energy, and seeing everyone come together for the tour made each stop really special for us. Looking back, we’re just really grateful for everything we got to experience with ONCE throughout the tour.”

The tour’s achievements reflect just how far TWICE’s live presence has grown. In Oceania, the THIS IS FOR World Tour became the best-selling K-pop tour in the region’s history following its Australian dates. Its 2025 schedule also included a sold-out performance at Kaohsiung National Stadium, attended by more than 55,000 fans. Across North America, the group opened the tour’s leg with two sold-out shows at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena before adding further performances in response to demand, including four nights at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum and three at UBS Arena in Belmont Park.

Elsewhere, three sold-out shows at Taipei Dome further demonstrated the scale of the tour, while the Tokyo dates brought another milestone. Performing at the city’s MUFG Stadium, also known as Japan National Stadium, TWICE became the first international artist to stage a stand-alone concert at the venue. In Hong Kong, they became the first K-pop girl group to hold a solo concert at Kai Tak Stadium.

These achievements form part of a broader trajectory for a group whose international ambitions have continued to grow. TWICE’s previous READY TO BE World Tour concluded in July 2024 with two sold-out performances at Nissan Stadium in Japan, drawing more than 140,000 fans across the two nights and making them the first K-pop girl group to headline the venue. The THIS IS FOR World Tour built on that momentum, taking the group into new spaces while raising expectations for what their large-scale shows could deliver.

Its production was built around an entirely new in-the-round, 360-degree stage design, with interconnected platforms and catwalks extending throughout the venue, while a vast, multi-panelled LED cube transformed the space throughout the show. Rather than keeping the members anchored to a central stage, the configuration allowed TWICE to move fluidly throughout the space, bringing the performance into different sections of the audience and creating an experience that felt truly immersive from every angle.

With no single front-facing stage, the members had to navigate a constantly shifting performance space, distributing their presence across different levels and sections of the audience. The arrangement also allowed the show to move between contrasting moods without losing its momentum, creating a live experience that felt carefully structured rather than a setlist simply assembled around a succession of hits.

The setlist itself brought together different eras of TWICE’s catalogue, from the contemporary energy of “THIS IS FOR” and “Strategy” to signature favourites such as “FANCY,” “YES or YES,” “The Feels” and “Likey.” The four-act structure made room for darker, more dramatic material alongside the group’s brighter pop identity, while a live band gave the arrangements additional depth. The result was a show that balanced familiarity with reinvention, allowing long-time fans to revisit defining songs while experiencing them within a new production framework.

Individuality was another defining feature. The tour gave all nine members space to perform shortened versions of their own original solo songs, offering distinct perspectives on their musical identities within the wider group experience. The solo performances culminated in “TAKEDOWN,” performed by Jihyo, Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung as part of the soundtrack for Netflix’s K-Pop Demon Hunters. Its inclusion connected TWICE’s live show to another significant moment in their wider international reach, while underscoring the range of material the group could bring to the stage.

Beyond the concert itself, the period surrounding the tour also reflected TWICE’s continued presence across music and popular culture. Their fourth full-length album, THIS IS FOR, debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, marking their seventh consecutive album to reach that part of the chart. The group also contributed to the official K-Pop Demon Hunters soundtrack, with “TAKEDOWN” reaching No. 58 on the Billboard Hot 100, while “Strategy” peaked at No. 51. In 2025, they became the first K-pop act to headline Lollapalooza Chicago and the first K-pop girl group to perform at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Taken together, these milestones illustrate a group continuing to expand its reach across live performance, recorded music and wider cultural platforms. The THIS IS FOR World Tour provided a setting in which those developments could converge, bringing a substantial catalogue, individual member projects and a large-scale production together in a single live experience.

For the members, however, the return to Seoul carried a significance that extended beyond the tour’s statistics. Korea had been the starting point, making the finale a chance to reflect on the distance travelled while bringing the experience back to the audience and place that had launched it. The final show also featured a revised setlist, giving the conclusion its own identity rather than simply repeating what had come before.

“‘THIS IS FOR’ was such a special tour for us. Since Korea was our first stop, it felt really meaningful to come back to Seoul and finish the tour after traveling all around the world. We also changed up the setlist for the finale, so even though it was our last show, it still felt fresh and exciting. We’re really happy to have the Seoul finale captured on live vinyl and to be able to share those moments with ONCE,” TWICE shared exclusively with tmrw for this story.

That decision to preserve the finale gives the live vinyl its particular significance. It captures the group at the conclusion of an extensive international run, one that saw them perform at landmark venues, reach new audiences and continue to develop their approach to large-scale performance. More than a document of a single concert, it represents the culmination of a touring chapter shaped by both ambition and the relationships that sustained it.

For TWICE and ONCE, the final nights in Seoul marked the end of one journey. Preserved on vinyl, it becomes something that can be returned to long after the stages have been dismantled and the tour has moved into memory.
